Hi crafty friends,

today I show you a mini album full of summer memories of my kiddos. For this project I used the fun "Under the sea" collection and the new matching die cuts.

The base is made of two 4x4 inch pieces of chipboard and one piece of 1,5x4 inches for the spine. For the outer wrapping I've chosen a wood patterned paper (wooden colors 01) (5x11 inches) and one sheet of design paper that I love the most from the "Under the sea" paper pad.

It has anchors and a nice watercolor look in all shades of green and blue that are typical for the ocean. I used it for the spine (3x9 inches) as well as for the inner lining (3,75x9,5 inches).

For the hinges you'll need three pieces of cardstock:

1: 2,5x3,75 inches

2: 2x3,75 inches

3: 1,5x3,75 inches (scored at 0,5" on both ends)If you want it more comfortable, use the scoring binder die that does all the cutting and scoring for you.

The pages are all made out of the "Under the sea" paper pad (3,75x375) and have pockets for the journeling cards to fit in. For this purpose only glue the paper edge at three sides and leave the top open. If you like, punch out a semi circle.

Last but not least let the fun beginn and decorate the album with the die cut shapes, tabs and labels as you like and do a little journaling here and there.

Save your summer memories in a mini album and make summer last forever.

Happy crafting and herzliche Grüße.

Mandy.
