It's Laura here and today I am back with a fun and easy project for a spring themed home decor.
The star of the show is the Honey Jar die, that I turned into a little house with dies from the Candy Box House Add On set. So adorable! I added color to the die cuts with Distress Inks in shades of lilac, pink, yellow and teal – if you want to know which ones make sure to watch the video tutorial I shared on the ModaScrap YouTube channel!
To turn this into a frame, I used the Happy Frames dies and the Wooden Colors 01 paper. I created the frame itself and for the background, I cut some Woodstock White cardstock and lightly shaded in with blue ink to create a soft sky.
I used black wire to create a thread from which the house is hanging, and used the bees in the Save the Bees die cuts to decorate the scene even more. For the sentiment, I combined stamps in the Welcome and Bee Happy stamp sets – and I think this saying makes the frame the perfect decoration for your hallway! What a sweet way to welcome any guest!
