CHRISTMAS DREAM CATCHER

At Christmas I really like making projects that can be hung and decorate every corner of the house. This time I thought of a "Christmas dream catcher" playing with transparencies and colors of white and light and dark antique pink.

First, I die cut the "Dream Catcher" of medium size several times from a slightly stiff cardboard and glued them all together to have a thick and rigid structure. I took some twine combined with "antique rose double face" paper and inserted it in 6 holes alternating with an empty one and tied it to a ring. The threads from each hole gradually descend from the shortest to the longest to form a spiral.

To each thread I hung a box die cut with "The Cube" using the special silver "Vellum Foil" paper. I decorated each box with a fern die cut with “Fern” in white bazzill and double-sided paper, once in polka dots and once in solid color. The same thing also for the flower die cut with “Winter Greenery” and glued together on the lid close to the thread.

You can think of putting a light in each box, so as to create an atmosphere in a corner of the house, or think of replicating it three more times and making it become an advent calendar.
