A HIVE FOR THE KEYS
Keychains are never enough when the family is large and the children grow up. Double, triple keys for everything: home, cars, bike locks and mailbox. So here is the need to create a keyboard to hang in the bedroom so as to always find them (fundamental thing!).
I started from a cardboard base and punched the hexagons with the "Dashing Hexagons" starting from the three below, where they are not complete. Then I created a texture by die cutting here and there even solid spaces, where I glued the hexagonal die cut with the plain green, white and “Double Face Wild Flowers 04” paper and decorating them. Then I glued on the back a rectangle of the same paper as a base and I inserted two hooks to hang on the wall.
To embellish and make the home decor spring, I used the "Zinnia Flowers" flower and the sprig of the flower from the "Echinopsis Flower" plank and in the largest flower I glued the "Banner" stamped with the phrase from the stamp plank "Happy Bee".
I made the key rings by gluing the hexagons several times in cardboard and for the slot I used the “Wicker Basket” die, where I inserted the strap to hook the carabiner. I then glued the paper hexagon and stamped each of them using the “Love” and “Bee Happy” boards.
I really enjoyed making this project with the brand new and beautiful spring release. I'm sure you like it too and I hope I've given you some ideas for your creations!
See you next time, Tania.
